Overview

Paul Martin is the newest addition to Mid-South and is an Engineer in Training, He is also working on getting his P.E. license to further his skills. His responsibilities include consulting with independent telecommunications companies with installing fiber optic technology in their community using funds provided by either the Rural Utilities Services or the economic stimulus plan, attending vendor conferences to keep up with the latest technologies in the field of telecommunications, and learn from the many talented people who work in this field.

Paul also has a strong background in IT support and has been very helpful in securing and increasing efficiency with the computer networks, servers, and printers in the office. He has worked as help desk support and an on-site technician for multiple companies before joining Mid-South.

Paul has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and has completed the first step in getting a Professional Engineering license, which is successfully passing the Engineer in Training (EIT) exam in South Carolina.
